You have extensive experience in security operations, with a proven track record of leading teams and implementing security strategies that align with organizational goals. Your leadership skills are complemented by your ability to mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to define, collect, and analyze security KPIs and KRIs effectively. You have a deep understanding of incident response processes and can lead major incident investigations, ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into future practices. Your expertise in vulnerability management allows you to oversee the identification, assessment, and remediation of vulnerabilities across all assets.

Desirable

Experience with security architecture review and design consultation is a plus, as is familiarity with threat detection and proactive hunting methodologies. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment and can effectively communicate with various teams across the organization to enhance security measures.

What you'll do

In this role, you will develop and implement a comprehensive security operations strategy and roadmap that aligns with Squarespace's overall goals and risk appetite. You will oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC) activities, ensuring 24/7/365 coverage for threat detection, monitoring, and analysis. You will establish and maintain a robust incident response program, defining incident playbooks and leading investigations to drive continuous improvement. Additionally, you will manage and enhance the vulnerability management program, tracking remediation efforts across all Squarespace assets. You will lead efforts in security architecture review and design consultation for new products and infrastructure changes, ensuring security is integrated from the outset. Your strategic contributions will help shape the security posture of Squarespace, making a significant impact on the organization's overall risk management efforts.
