Google is seeking a Senior Analytical Lead for their Large Customer Sales team in Chicago. You'll leverage your expertise in media analytics and client-facing roles to drive business growth and deliver impactful insights. This position requires 8 years of experience and proficiency in SQL and analytics platforms.
You have 8 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis — you've navigated complex customer organizations and influenced stakeholders from day-to-day operations to the c-suite. Your educational background includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, and an MBA or advanced professional degree is preferred. You excel in client-facing roles, demonstrating creativity and attention to detail while delivering organized results. Your knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation tools like dashboards and custom reports sets you apart. You possess excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex analyses into digestible narratives that create urgency for decision-makers to act.
Experience with third-party analytics platforms and web analytics tools such as Adobe and GA4 is a plus. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for sales, with a commitment to maximizing customer success. You act like an owner, moving with velocity through change and finding innovative ways to deliver extraordinary outcomes for both Google and your customers.
In this role, you will build and manage relationships with client and partner stakeholders across functions and levels, owning the relationship with data stakeholders on the client’s side. You will conduct in-depth analyses to identify business opportunities and support the development of go-to-market business pitches and marketing collateral. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth, conducting detailed analyses, and translating customer needs into powerful solutions. You will also support the development of marketing strategies that align with client objectives, ensuring that your insights lead to actionable outcomes.
