You are an experienced designer with a strong background in design systems, having spent at least 5 years in the field. Your attention to detail and ability to create intuitive documentation sets you apart, allowing you to empower other designers to deliver cohesive and accessible experiences. You have a deep understanding of visual and interaction patterns, and you are passionate about evolving design systems to meet user needs. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring that design principles are upheld across all platforms.

Desirable

Experience with multi-platform design systems is a plus, as is familiarity with the crypto or fintech industries. You are comfortable iterating on existing components and creating new ones that enhance user interactions. Your ability to communicate design concepts clearly to stakeholders will help drive the adoption of best practices within the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the evolution of OKX's design system, ensuring it meets the needs of designers and users alike. You will create and maintain a robust system of documentation that serves as a reference for design teams across the organization. Your responsibilities will include iterating on existing components and developing new ones that align with our visual and interaction standards. You will collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to ensure that design solutions are feasible and effectively implemented. Additionally, you will conduct user research to gather feedback on design components and make data-driven decisions to enhance the system.

You will also be responsible for training and mentoring junior designers, helping them understand the principles of design systems and how to apply them in their work. Your leadership will foster a culture of design excellence within the team, encouraging innovation and creativity. You will participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback to ensure high-quality outputs. As a key member of the design team, you will advocate for user-centered design practices and help shape the overall design strategy for OKX.
