Job Description

**About the Role** At Uber, we’re building a future where autonomous vehicles and human drivers seamlessly work together to make transportation more reliable, affordable, sustainable, and safer. As the largest on-demand mobility and delivery platform in the world, with our deep expertise in marketplace management, fleet utilization, and local operations — Uber is uniquely positioned to help AV companies deploy and scale their technology globally. As Sr. Product Manager for the Autonomous Supply team, you will be at the center of delivering on this mission. You will build and ship technology solutions to deeply understand, interpret, organize and respond to anything happening to autonomous supply operating on Uber. You will ensure that AV supply is always ready to provide riders with a reliable and magical autonomous ride. You will also work closely with our partners and internal stakeholders to invent and launch new ways to help commercialize AVs at scale. **What the Candidate Will Do** 1. Develop and build the vision for Uber’s AV supply platform. Set foundational standards for supply quality and health, and ensure we’re meeting these standards at scale 2. Build a leading supply orchestration solution to ingest and interpret signals from all AV supply on Uber and guide interventions to maximize supply health 3. Build a highly efficient API and tooling platform for launching our AV partnerships, managing and scaling deployments and managing ongoing operations 4. Lead the AV API integration platform and build developer-friendly interfaces and tools, reliable integration and reporting capabilities, and applications that work seamlessly with Uber’s broader mobility and delivery platforms **Basic Qualifications** 1. Minimum 6+ years experience delivering successful and innovative products with your fingerprints all over them. Experience owning and leading strategy for lines of business and building products from 0-1 2. Demonstrated ability to leverage cutting edge technology to drive business impact and articulate sophisticated technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences 3. Experience working closely with partners and external engineering teams to understand user needs and technical challenges. Able to articulate where tech can automate and elevate user experiences 4. Proven success in leading and scaling high-impact product platform initiatives. Expertise in solving complex technical challenges, with extensive experience in building resilient, scalable platforms and data pipelines 5. Deep knowledge of system architecture, microservices, and best practices for creating robust systems. Skilled in building developer tools (SDKs, APIs, dashboards) and integrated B2B products **Preferred Qualifications** 1. Prior AV industry experience 2. Strategic 0 to 1 business experience For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
