AI Data Platform Engineer Intern (x/f/m)

Who you are

You are an aspiring AI Data Platform Engineer with a strong interest in cloud technologies and data platforms. You have a foundational understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), and you're eager to learn more about data mesh architecture. Your programming skills, particularly in Python, allow you to contribute effectively to backend and API development. You are familiar with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and monitoring solutions such as Datadog, which will help you in your role. You are a collaborative team player who enjoys working with stakeholders to gather requirements and improve user experience. You are excited about the opportunity to build a product from the ground up and are open to feedback and learning from experienced engineers.

What you'll do

In this internship, you will join Doctolib’s Data Platform Engineering team to help build the first Minimum Viable Product (MVP) of an AI-enhanced status page. Your responsibilities will include contributing to the migration from AWS to GCP, where you will learn about the decentralized data product approach. You will assist in building the MVP interface, which will provide a comprehensive overview of services and data products, including their availability and quality. You will lead discovery sessions with stakeholders to gather insights and propose user experience improvements. Your role will also involve defining the architecture and implementing both backend APIs and frontend components. You will document your work to ensure clarity and facilitate future development. Throughout this process, you will gain hands-on experience in shipping an internal product that will be used by Doctolibers, enhancing your skills in cloud technologies and product development.
