Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales leadership, ideally within the fintech sector, and possess a deep understanding of the SME market in the UK. Your experience includes building and leading high-performing sales teams, inspiring them to achieve ambitious targets while fostering a collaborative and motivated environment. You are skilled in identifying prospects and creatively showcasing product value to close deals effectively. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about driving growth and innovation in the finance sector.

Desirable

Experience in the payments industry or a strong understanding of financial products will be advantageous. Familiarity with AI applications in sales processes is a plus, as you will be expected to leverage technology to enhance team performance and customer engagement.

What you'll do

As the Sales Lead for Mollie in the UK, you will be responsible for leading the acquisition of new customers in the SME segment. You will build and inspire a high-performing sales team, guiding them to identify prospects and creatively showcase our product's value. Your role will involve collaborating closely with local and central teams to align strategies and drive growth. You will report directly to the Head of Sales UK, ensuring that your team is equipped with the tools and knowledge needed to succeed. You will also play a key role in shaping the sales strategy for the UK market, particularly in light of the recent acquisition of GoCardless, which presents new opportunities for expansion.
