MongoDB is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in Singapore. You'll focus on formulating and executing sales strategies while collaborating with Solutions Architects. This role requires 7+ years of field experience and proficiency in Thai communication.
You have over 7 years of field experience in a quota-carrying role, demonstrating a strong ability to thrive in a competitive market focused on new business acquisition. Your communication skills in Thai are essential, allowing you to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders. You possess a proven track record of overachievement, consistently hitting sales targets and earning accolades such as President’s Club or Rep of the Year. You are skilled in articulating the business value of complex enterprise technology, enabling you to build strong relationships with CTOs, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users.
You are driven and competitive, with a strong desire to succeed in your role. Your time management skills are exceptional, allowing you to qualify opportunities effectively and manage your resources wisely. You understand the importance of building business champions and navigating complex sales processes, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the engagement. You are proactive in prospecting, identifying, and developing a robust sales pipeline focused on net new logos.
Experience in a hybrid working model is a plus, as you will be collaborating closely with Solutions Architects and the Professional Services team to achieve customer satisfaction. Your ability to participate in sales enablement trainings, including comprehensive Sales Bootcamp and leadership development programs, will further enhance your skills and effectiveness in this role.
In this role, you will proactively prospect and identify potential clients within your assigned territory, focusing exclusively on new customer acquisition. You will develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with MongoDB's goals, resulting in the successful closure of business deals to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets. You will engage with CTOs and technical leaders, articulating the value of MongoDB's solutions and fostering relationships that lead to successful partnerships.
You will participate in sales enablement trainings, enhancing your skills and knowledge of MongoDB's offerings. Collaborating closely with Solutions Architects, you will ensure that customer needs are met and that they receive the highest level of service. Your role will also involve tracking your sales pipeline and reporting on your progress, allowing you to adjust your strategies as needed to achieve success.
