Who you are

You have extensive experience in construction management, ideally with a focus on large-scale projects. You are proactive in planning and implementing site logistics, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and that project timelines are met. Your attention to detail allows you to maintain job site cleanliness and organization, which is crucial for the safety and efficiency of the team. Your experience with construction assets management, including trailers and equipment, enables you to oversee the logistics of daily deliveries and inventory management. You understand the importance of maintaining compliance with local and state regulations, and you are adept at managing the necessary documentation and permits required for construction projects.

Desirable

Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus, as it allows you to visualize and plan construction layouts effectively. Familiarity with the specific challenges of aerospace or high-tech construction projects will set you apart as a candidate.

What you'll do

As a Construction Superintendent at SpaceX, you will take ownership of the day-to-day management of construction projects, ensuring that all operations align with the broader goals of the Starship Infrastructure team. You will lead a dedicated team, coordinating their efforts to optimize work schedules and project progress. Your role will involve daily field coordination, where you will address any conflicts that arise between contractors and internal partners, ensuring that all parties are aligned and working towards common objectives.

You will be responsible for implementing and enforcing safety policies on the job site, driving a culture of safety among all workers. This includes conducting regular safety meetings and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. You will also manage site logistics, overseeing the delivery and staging of materials, and ensuring that the job site remains organized and clean.

In addition to managing logistics, you will maintain and iterate on construction barricades and other safety measures as needed. Your attention to detail will be crucial in maintaining compliance with the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) and other local regulations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are executed efficiently and effectively.
