Block is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to build a sales pipeline for their Restaurant or Generalist team. You'll engage with leads and qualify them for Account Executives. This role requires strong sales experience and a deep understanding of merchant needs.
You have a proven track record in sales development, with experience engaging and nurturing leads to create sales interest. You understand the diverse needs of merchants and can effectively communicate the value of products and services. Your ability to create urgency and qualify leads through strategic discovery is key to your success. You are comfortable managing a lead pipeline and assisting in onboarding sellers, ensuring they have a smooth transition into the Square ecosystem. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to contribute to the growth of the sales team.
As a Senior Sales Development Representative at Block, you will be the first line of contact for low-intent leads generated from marketing programs. Your primary responsibility will be to engage these leads, nurturing them until they are ready to be passed to Account Executives. You will apply your sales expertise to create value and urgency, qualifying leads through strategic discovery. You will also manage your lead pipeline effectively, ensuring that you meet your monthly quota of qualified opportunities created. Additionally, you will assist in onboarding select sellers, helping them understand how to leverage the Square ecosystem for their growth.
