Addi is seeking an AppSec Engineer to enhance the security of their financial platform. You'll work on securing applications and ensuring compliance with security standards. This role requires expertise in application security practices.
You have a strong background in application security, with experience in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities in software applications. You understand the importance of secure coding practices and have a solid grasp of security frameworks and standards, particularly OWASP. You are detail-oriented and have a proactive approach to security, ensuring that security measures are integrated throughout the software development lifecycle. You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to promote security awareness and best practices. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated on the latest security threats and trends in the industry.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting security assessments of applications and systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending remediation strategies. You will work closely with development teams to implement security controls and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. You will also participate in code reviews and provide guidance on secure coding practices. Additionally, you will monitor security incidents and respond to security breaches, conducting post-incident analysis to improve security measures. You will contribute to the development of security training programs for employees to foster a culture of security awareness within the organization.
