Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Account Executive for their Pureplay Retail team to drive sales and foster client relationships. You'll leverage your expertise in digital advertising and consultative sales to maximize customer success. This role requires 8 years of industry experience and offers a dynamic work environment in Mountain View.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing. Your background includes working with advertisers, agencies, or clients, and you possess the ability to communicate fluently in English to engage effectively with clients in the region. You are comfortable traveling for client meetings and training as needed. You have experience with sophisticated performance advertisers or feed-based marketing, and you understand a broad range of Google Ad products including Search, App, YouTube, Display/Programmatic, and Google Marketing Platform. You excel at prioritizing, planning, and organizing across multiple projects, driving multiple objectives simultaneously. Your initiative and self-direction are complemented by a resilient, curious approach to navigating high-ambiguity environments. You have excellent people-management and communication skills, with a proven ability to foster teamwork and maintain a solution-oriented approach.

What you'll do

In this role, you will build trusted relationships with customers, uncovering their business needs and goals. You will demonstrate Google's value by measuring campaign results against customer objectives and engaged offerings, sharing data-driven insights that shape customer strategies and reinforce partnerships. You will accelerate customers' growth trajectories by proactively identifying and cultivating a pipeline of new opportunities, leveraging insights and proven success to expand partnerships. You will be responsible for driving sales initiatives and ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and support from Google. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs and contribute to their success. You will also be expected to stay updated on industry trends and Google’s evolving product offerings to effectively communicate value to clients.
