Overview

Xometry is seeking a Director of Partner Management to build and scale a high-performing Partner Network in the CNC manufacturing category. This role requires 8+ years of experience in manufacturing operations and partner management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 8 years of experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or partner management — you've successfully built and managed partner networks, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance. Your expertise in manufacturing processes, particularly in CNC, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding, Additive, or Finishing, sets you apart as a subject-matter expert in the field. You possess strong leadership skills, having mentored and guided teams to achieve partner success targets while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.

You are adept at developing and executing strategies for recruiting, onboarding, activating, and retaining high-quality partners — your strategic mindset allows you to define and enforce category-specific playbooks and processes that drive partner satisfaction and compliance with industry standards such as ITAR, JCP, and ISO. You are results-oriented, with a proven track record of monitoring and managing KPIs related to partner acquisition, activation rates, and retention.

Your collaborative nature enables you to work effectively with central functions such as Operations, Enablement, and Marketing — you understand the importance of standardizing training, tools, and reporting to ensure a seamless partner lifecycle. You are committed to maintaining high partner satisfaction and quality, and you thrive in environments where you can influence and drive change.

Desirable

Experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing or supply chain context is a plus — familiarity with digital marketplaces and the ability to navigate complex partner relationships will enhance your effectiveness in this position. A background in compliance and quality assurance within manufacturing processes will also be beneficial.

What you'll do

As the Director of Partner Management at Xometry, you will own the partner lifecycle for the CNC manufacturing category across all U.S. regions — your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies that ensure partner success while maintaining compliance and quality standards. You will define and enforce category-specific playbooks, processes, and standards that align with Xometry's mission to connect innovative ideas with manufacturing capabilities.

You will monitor and manage key performance indicators, including partner acquisition, activation rates, and retention metrics — your analytical skills will be crucial in assessing the effectiveness of your strategies and making data-driven decisions to enhance partner performance. You will collaborate closely with central functions to standardize training, tools, and reporting, ensuring that all regional teams are equipped to succeed.

Mentoring and guiding regional teams will be a key aspect of your role — you will foster a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices, empowering your teams to achieve their goals. As a subject-matter expert, you will stay informed about category-specific manufacturing processes, trends, and market dynamics, ensuring that Xometry remains at the forefront of the industry.

What we offer

At Xometry, you will be part of a dynamic team that is transforming the manufacturing landscape — we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for professional growth and development. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on the success of our partner network and contribute to the overall mission of connecting innovative ideas with manufacturing capabilities. Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing and driving success for our partners.
