What you'll do

As a Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX, you will support the day-to-day production of Falcon and Merlin engine sub-assemblies. Your responsibilities will include developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality production at an aggressive pace. You will analyze recurring manufacturing discrepancies and lead teams to identify root causes, implementing solutions that enhance hardware performance. Your role will also involve collaborating with design and engineering teams to provide input on new and existing hardware, ensuring manufacturability and efficiency.

You will be responsible for overseeing various manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, metal forming, pressure testing, and non-destructive testing. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining the reliability and performance of the propulsion systems that SpaceX develops.
