You'll support the production of critical engine hardware using various manufacturing processes. This role requires expertise in manufacturing and engineering principles.
You have a strong background in manufacturing engineering, particularly in propulsion technologies, and are eager to apply your knowledge to develop innovative solutions. Your experience includes working with various manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, and mechanical assembly, which are crucial for the production of rocket engine components. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are skilled at analyzing manufacturing discrepancies to improve hardware performance. You are detail-oriented and possess a problem-solving mindset, enabling you to lead multi-disciplinary teams effectively.
Experience with bi-propellant rocket engines or similar aerospace technologies is a plus. Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques and a passion for space exploration will set you apart. As a Manufacturing Engineer at SpaceX, you will support the day-to-day production of Falcon and Merlin engine sub-assemblies. You will analyze recurring manufacturing discrepancies and lead teams to identify root causes, implementing solutions that enhance hardware performance.
