Apple is seeking a Senior Hardware Engineer to define the next generation of Cellular RF Receiver architectures. You'll work on 5G and 6G technologies, collaborating with various teams to deliver innovative wireless solutions. This role requires expertise in RF systems and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
You have a BS degree and at least 3 years of relevant industry experience, demonstrating a strong background in System Engineering for complex Cellular RF systems. Your deep expertise in state-of-the-art receiver architectures allows you to influence and drive innovation across the organization. You possess mastery in RF line-up analysis and can develop detailed plans for modern receiver architecture. Your theoretical and practical understanding of RF system performance metrics such as NF, non-linearity, phase noise, and IQ imbalance directly impacts overall system performance. You are well-versed in 3GPP standards, particularly focusing on RF requirements and physical layer procedures. Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for RF system modeling and simulations is second nature to you.
As a key member of Apple’s RF System Engineering team, you will architect and deliver groundbreaking wireless solutions for future Apple products. You will work on today's 5G New Radio and pave the way for 6G technologies, ensuring an outstanding wireless experience for millions of customers worldwide. Your role will involve collaborating with RF circuit design, platform architecture, and software engineering teams to define and implement concepts that deliver uncompromising performance and quality. You will drive the evolution of RF receiver architectures, influencing the design and execution of innovative solutions. Your ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively will be essential as you work with cross-functional teams to bring your designs to mass production.
