Oscar is hiring a Manager of Clinical Operations to oversee the daily operations of a virtual clinical practice. You'll manage a team of medical assistants and administrative staff to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient experience. This role requires strong leadership skills and a focus on process improvement.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in managing clinical operations, ideally within a healthcare or insurance setting. Your experience includes overseeing teams and ensuring that operational goals are met while maintaining a high standard of patient care. You thrive in a technology-enabled environment and are adept at using data to drive decisions. You possess strong interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively communicate with both your team and other stakeholders. You are process-driven and understand the importance of efficient workflows in a clinical setting. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities. You have experience in workforce management and understand how to optimize staffing levels to meet operational needs.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the day-to-day operations of Oscar's virtual clinical practice. You will be responsible for managing a diverse team, including medical assistants and administrative staff, ensuring that they are well-supported and equipped to deliver exceptional patient care. You will oversee staffing levels and scheduling to ensure that clinical and operational KPIs are met. You will implement processes that enhance workflow efficiency and improve the overall patient experience. You will collaborate with the Director of Clinical Operations to develop strategies that align with Oscar's mission of providing high-quality health insurance services. You will also be involved in performance management, providing feedback and coaching to your team members to foster their professional growth. Your role will require you to analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance service delivery.

What we offer

Oscar offers a competitive salary range of $88,560 to $116,235 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes participation in an unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, with three days in the office and flexibility for remote work.
