Google is seeking a Trust and Safety Analyst to drive strategic analysis and optimize business performance. You'll work with data analytics and policy enforcement to ensure user safety. This role requires 4+ years of experience in data analysis and related fields.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cyber-security, or related fields. Your background includes 4 years of experience in data analysis, where you've identified trends, generated summary statistics, and drawn insights from both quantitative and qualitative data. You have a proven track record of delivering analysis projects and tackling open-ended problems effectively. Additionally, you possess 3 years of experience in Technology, Product Policy, Trust and Safety, or related fields, which has equipped you with the skills to communicate analysis results to executive management.

Your technical skills include proficiency in SQL and Python, which you have utilized in complex problem-solving scenarios. You are adept at managing scaled operations and executing tasks efficiently. Your knowledge extends to content moderation, policy enforcement, customer support, and policy creation, allowing you to solve operational or policy problems while collaborating closely with various cross-functional teams. You excel in problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication, with the ability to articulate complex policy concepts clearly.

What you'll do

As a Trust and Safety Analyst at Google, you will play a critical role in protecting users by ensuring online safety and combating web abuse and fraud across Google products. You will drive strategic analysis to define ways to optimize business performance within the relevant Product Area, function, or sub-function. Your responsibilities will include managing project planning, status reporting, timeline estimation, issue tracking, meeting facilitation, and project documentation. You will lead working groups effectively, ensuring that all project work aligns with Google's guiding principles and user trust.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen global collaboration and enhance user and merchant experiences. Your analytical skills will be essential in identifying trends and providing insights that inform policy decisions and operational strategies. You will also be responsible for communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring that the Trust and Safety team remains aligned with Google's mission to protect users.
