Accounting Intern – Finance

Who you are

You are a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant (CA Inter cleared) who is currently pursuing your CA internship or articleship. You are eager to gain hands-on experience in core finance functions and are willing to complete your CA qualification in the future. You possess a strong background in audit, core accounting, compliance, and taxation, which will help you thrive in this role. Your proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is complemented by your familiarity with accounting tools like Tally, SAP, Zoho, or QuickBooks. You have good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, and you are detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility.

What you'll do

In this role, you will handle day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping entries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. You will assist in month-end closing and financial reporting, preparing and filing GST returns, and calculating and deducting TDS. Filing TDS returns and supporting statutory, internal, and tax audits will also be part of your responsibilities. You will perform ledger reconciliations to ensure that all financial records are accurate and up to date. This internship offers you the opportunity to work closely with experienced finance professionals, gaining valuable insights into the finance and accounting industry.
