AuditBoard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer II specializing in Machine Learning to build and scale intelligent systems for their risk and compliance platform. You'll work with technologies like Python and API design, focusing on machine learning techniques and data pipelines.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on machine learning — you've successfully built and deployed production-grade systems that leverage both classical ML techniques and modern approaches like Large Language Models (LLMs). Your expertise in Python allows you to develop robust applications that meet customer needs effectively.
You are comfortable working at the intersection of software engineering and applied machine learning — you understand the intricacies of API design and data pipelines, ensuring that systems are not only functional but also maintainable in the long term. Your experience includes integrating machine learning models into existing systems, and you have a keen eye for optimizing performance.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features — your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders is a key asset. You are passionate about innovation and continuously seek ways to improve processes and systems.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is a plus, as is familiarity with tools like TensorFlow or PyTorch for model training and deployment. You are also open to exploring new technologies and methodologies that can enhance the capabilities of the systems you work on.
In this role, you will own systems end-to-end, from API design to model integration and evaluation — you will be responsible for ensuring that the machine learning components of the risk and compliance platform are scalable and efficient. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for leveraging machine learning to enhance product offerings.
You will design and implement data pipelines that facilitate the flow of information between systems, ensuring data quality and accessibility for model training and evaluation. Your work will directly impact the functionality of the platform, enabling customers to make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.
You will also engage in continuous learning and experimentation, exploring new machine learning techniques and tools that can be applied to improve the platform's capabilities. Your contributions will help shape the future of AuditBoard's technology and its impact on the audit and risk management industry.
AuditBoard provides a dynamic work environment where innovation is encouraged — you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and contribute to a product that is highly valued by customers. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, along with a culture that promotes professional growth and development.
You will be part of a team that values collaboration and support, where your ideas and contributions are recognized and appreciated. We believe in fostering a positive work culture that empowers employees to excel in their roles and make a meaningful impact.
Join us at AuditBoard and be part of a company that is transforming the audit and risk management landscape — your work will help drive clarity and agility for our customers, making a real difference in their businesses.
