Overview

Scribd is seeking a Senior Analytics Manager to lead initiatives in Payments and Identity. You'll drive data-driven strategies and collaborate across teams to enhance user experiences. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in analytics management.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in analytics management, ideally within the payments or identity sectors — you've successfully led teams to derive actionable insights from complex data sets and have a proven track record of influencing business decisions through data. Your analytical skills are complemented by a strong understanding of data visualization tools and methodologies, allowing you to present findings in a clear and impactful manner.

You thrive in collaborative environments — working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, and marketing, to ensure that analytics initiatives align with broader business goals. You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to translate technical concepts into understandable terms for stakeholders at all levels.

You are passionate about fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making within your organization — you encourage team members to leverage data in their daily operations and advocate for best practices in analytics. Your leadership style is supportive and empowering, helping your team members grow and develop their skills.

Desirable

Experience with data analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI is a plus — you understand the importance of effective data visualization in communicating insights. Familiarity with SQL and data manipulation languages will enhance your ability to work directly with data sets.

What you'll do

As a Senior Analytics Manager at Scribd, you will lead the analytics strategy for our Payments and Identity teams — your role will involve defining key performance indicators, developing dashboards, and ensuring that data is accessible and actionable for stakeholders. You will collaborate with product managers to identify opportunities for enhancing user experiences through data insights.

You will oversee the analytics team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior analysts — your leadership will help cultivate a high-performing team that is adept at using data to drive business outcomes. You will also be responsible for presenting findings to senior leadership, ensuring that data-driven insights inform strategic decisions.

Your role will require you to stay updated on industry trends and best practices in analytics — you will continuously seek ways to improve our analytics capabilities and drive innovation within the team. You will also work closely with engineering to ensure that data collection processes are robust and aligned with our analytics goals.

What we offer

At Scribd, we prioritize a flexible work environment that allows you to balance individual needs with team collaboration — our Scribd Flex program enables you to choose a work style that suits you best while fostering community connections. We believe in the power of diverse perspectives and encourage applicants from all backgrounds to join us in our mission to democratize knowledge.

You will be part of a culture that values GRIT — passion and perseverance towards long-term goals. We support your professional growth and development, providing opportunities for continuous learning and advancement within the company. Join us in building something meaningful and impactful for our users.
