Who you are
You have a strong background in data science, with experience in machine learning and AI — you understand how to apply these technologies to solve real-world problems and improve business outcomes. Your interpersonal skills allow you to effectively communicate with customers, understanding their unique challenges and translating them into actionable data-driven solutions. You are familiar with GIS workflows, although prior experience is not mandatory, and you are eager to learn about spatial data analytics. You possess a solid foundation in statistics and data analysis, enabling you to build high-quality analytics systems that drive insights and decision-making.
You are proficient in writing production-level code for data analysis and process automation — your technical expertise allows you to develop and deploy models that achieve high predictive accuracy. You are skilled in feature engineering, model selection, and hyperparameter optimization, ensuring that your models perform optimally in production environments. Your ability to scope projects and communicate uncertainties and risks effectively makes you a valuable asset to any team.
Desirable
Experience with GIS technologies or spatial data analytics is a plus, as it will enhance your ability to collaborate with GIS experts and integrate your data science solutions seamlessly into their workflows. Familiarity with various data science tools and programming languages will also be beneficial in this role.
What you'll do
