Software Engineer

Who you are

You have a solid background in backend engineering, with experience in building scalable systems that handle high traffic. You are proficient in Go and have a strong understanding of microservices architecture, which allows you to design and implement robust APIs effectively. Your experience with AWS and containerization tools like Docker enables you to deploy applications seamlessly in cloud environments. You are familiar with database optimization techniques, particularly with PostgreSQL, ensuring that data structures are efficient for real-time applications. You have worked with event-driven architectures and are comfortable using Kafka or similar message broker platforms to facilitate data flow across services. You thrive in collaborative environments, where you can share knowledge and learn from your peers, contributing to a high-impact team culture. What you'll do

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that support DailyPay's innovative on-demand pay solutions. You will contribute to the transition to microservices, focusing on designing APIs that are efficient and easy to integrate. Your responsibilities will include optimizing database performance and ensuring that data structures are well-suited for high-traffic, real-time applications. You will collaborate closely with other teams to improve deployment processes and enhance service accessibility. Additionally, you will automate operations to enable future scalability, ensuring that the infrastructure can handle increased demand as the company grows. You will participate in code reviews and contribute to the overall quality of the codebase, helping to maintain high standards of software development. Your role will also involve staying updated with industry trends and best practices, applying them to improve DailyPay's technology stack.
