Our client is building a next-generation video platform that leverages artificial intelligence to redefine how video content is created, organized, and consumed. Our focus is on pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted video understanding, generation, and automation to deliver smarter, more personalized media experiences.
We’re looking for a skilled AI Engineer who has direct experience in training AI models — not just fine-tuning or applying prebuilt APIs — to help us prototype and optimize the intelligence layer of our platform.
You will work closely with the founder and core technical team to develop and train AI models tailored for our video platform. This role is ideal for an independent contributor who’s comfortable working part-time on a short-term, high-impact project.
Design, develop, and train AI/ML models to support video-related tasks (e.g., tagging, summarization, content understanding, or generation).
Work with existing datasets and create synthetic or labeled data where needed.
Optimize model performance and deployment for efficiency and scalability.
Collaborate with engineers and product leads to integrate AI features into the platform.
Document your process, findings, and recommendations for future development.
Proven experience training AI models (this is mandatory — not limited to API integration or fine-tuning).
Strong background in machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Experience with computer vision, video analysis, or multimodal AI is a strong plus.
Familiarity with Python and standard ML toolkits.
Ability to work independently and deliver results in a short time frame.
Based in Brazil and available for part-time engagement (10–20 hours per week).
Previous work with video platforms, media startups, or AI content generation tools.
Knowledge of LLMs, transformers, or diffusion models.
Comfortable experimenting with open-source models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, Stability, etc.).
Work with a forward-thinking founder on cutting-edge video AI technology.
