GoDaddy is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to create and maintain infrastructure that supports millions of entrepreneurs. You'll work with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to ensure system reliability and efficiency. This role is fully remote based in India.
You are an experienced Site Reliability Engineer with a strong background in managing large-scale systems. You have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, and are skilled in automating operations to enhance reliability and performance. Your expertise in observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana allows you to implement effective monitoring solutions that ensure system health and uptime. You are proficient in scripting languages such as Python and Bash, enabling you to automate tasks and streamline processes effectively. You have hands-on experience with container orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, which you use to manage and troubleshoot containerized workloads. Your familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as CloudFormation and Ansible helps you architect and maintain robust infrastructure solutions.
Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions is a plus, as it allows you to implement efficient deployment pipelines. Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef can enhance your ability to maintain configuration consistency across environments. You understand the importance of defining and maintaining SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs, ensuring that service levels meet business requirements. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys preventing incidents before they occur, contributing to a culture of reliability and excellence.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing end-to-end observability across GoDaddy's infrastructure and applications. You will define and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs to ensure that our systems meet the highest reliability standards. You will architect and automate AWS infrastructure using tools like CDK and CloudFormation, ensuring that deployments are efficient and scalable. Your role will involve managing and troubleshooting containerized workloads across Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring that our applications run smoothly and efficiently. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives that enhance system reliability and performance, contributing to the overall success of GoDaddy's mission to empower entrepreneurs.
