What you'll do

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Localization Team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of Mozilla's localization infrastructure — your work will involve enhancing the Django-based Translation Management System, Pontoon, and supporting the integration of open-source libraries like moz-l10n. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that localization processes are streamlined and effective, enabling a better user experience for millions of users worldwide.

You will engage with the global community of volunteer localizers, providing support and guidance to enhance their contributions — your role will involve developing tools and resources that empower localizers to deliver high-quality translations. You will also work on internationalization features that shape the experience of Firefox and other Mozilla products, ensuring that they meet the needs of diverse user groups.
