Software Architect (.NET)

You have a strong background in software architecture, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing complex systems. Your expertise in .NET technologies, particularly .NET Core and C#, allows you to create scalable and efficient solutions that meet business needs. You are adept at mentoring engineers and fostering a culture of high standards in code quality and best practices. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to align technical strategies with company objectives.

You possess a deep understanding of software development processes, including CI/CD practices, and are committed to driving the adoption of these methodologies across teams. Your ability to assess new technologies and competitive products keeps your systems ahead of the curve, ensuring that your team is always innovating and improving. You are a proactive problem solver, capable of identifying potential roadblocks and addressing them before they impact project timelines.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS would be a plus, as would familiarity with agile methodologies. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity and can define clear paths forward even when strategies are not fully established. Your communication skills enable you to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding across the organization.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of organization-wide challenges, ensuring smooth project rollouts and removing obstacles proactively. You will define the technical strategy for projects that span multiple teams, aligning architecture with broader company objectives. Your leadership will guide teams in building simple, efficient systems that enhance the user experience for travelers.

You will champion high standards for code quality and testing, mentoring engineers across teams to drive the adoption of best practices. Your role will involve keeping a pulse on the tech world, assessing new technologies and competitive products to ensure that FLYR remains at the forefront of innovation in the travel industry. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that technical solutions align with business goals and user needs.
