Datadog is hiring a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer to create engaging cloud engineering training content for customers. You'll collaborate with engineering and product teams and utilize your expertise in security and software development. This role is based in Paris with hybrid work options.
You have a strong background in technical curriculum development, particularly in the areas of security and software engineering. With at least 5 years of experience, you have a proven track record of creating high-quality training materials that engage learners and meet their needs. You are skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer success, to ensure that the training content is relevant and effective. Your instructional expertise allows you to design both self-paced and instructor-led training programs that enhance customer proficiency with Datadog products.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with customers to understand their technical requirements. This insight helps you to build courses that are tailored to their needs, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and engagement. You are also adept at reviewing and improving existing learning content, ensuring it remains up-to-date with the latest solutions offered by Datadog. Your passion for education and training drives you to continuously seek ways to enhance the learning experience for customers.
Experience with cloud engineering and familiarity with DevOps practices will be beneficial in this role. A background in security technologies is also a plus, as it will help you create more targeted training content. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with in-office collaboration to foster strong relationships with your colleagues.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to produce engaging training courses and content for Datadog’s customer and partner curriculums. You will evaluate customer training requirements and translate those into a roadmap with clearly scoped courses that have well-defined learning paths. Your ability to communicate with customers will be crucial in understanding their technical needs and building courses that help them become proficient in using Datadog products.
You will create high-quality hands-on labs that can be delivered both as self-paced online programs or instructor-led training. Reviewing demo code and courses created by other curriculum developers will also be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that all content meets the high standards expected by Datadog. Your role will involve continuous improvement of existing learning content to keep pace with the ever-expanding solutions offered by the company.
