Overview

GetYourGuide is hiring a Senior Data Analyst for their Product & Marketing team to drive data-driven decision-making. You'll work with SQL, Google Analytics, and A/B Testing to provide insights that enhance user experiences. This role requires 5+ years of experience in data analysis.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience as a data analyst, ideally within a product or marketing context — you've developed a strong ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights that drive business decisions. Your expertise in SQL allows you to manipulate and analyze large datasets efficiently, while your familiarity with Google Analytics helps you track user behavior and measure the impact of marketing initiatives.

You are skilled in A/B testing methodologies — you understand how to design experiments that yield reliable results and can interpret the data to inform product development. Your experience with data visualization tools enables you to present findings in a clear and compelling manner, making it easy for stakeholders to grasp key insights and trends.

You thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy collaborating with product managers, marketers, and engineers — your communication skills allow you to convey complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Desirable

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker would be a plus — you can create dashboards that provide real-time insights to the team. Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling techniques will help you deepen your analysis and provide more robust recommendations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will partner closely with product teams to guide the development lifecycle through rigorous experimentation — you'll help quantify the impact of new features and build business cases for strategic initiatives. Your analytical skills will be crucial in evaluating end-to-end impact and prioritizing opportunities that enhance the user experience.

You will take ownership of the entire analytics funnel, from exploration through recommendations to impact measurement — your insights will drive data-informed decisions that shape the direction of our product offerings. You will also be responsible for conducting thorough analyses to identify trends and patterns in user behavior, providing actionable recommendations to improve customer engagement and satisfaction.

As part of the Analytics department, you will work on a variety of problems and datasets, contributing to cross-functional mission teams — your ability to tackle complex and ambiguous questions will be essential in this collaborative environment. You will play a key role in ensuring that the organization can take action based on data, ultimately helping to create unforgettable travel experiences for our customers.
