You are an experienced Audience Development and Partner Manager with a strong background in curating and strategizing content for podcasts and video podcasts. You have a proven track record of managing productive B2B partnerships and are skilled in leveraging data-driven insights to drive growth and discovery in the podcasting space. Your expertise in digital culture and marketing allows you to effectively navigate the evolving landscape of spoken-word content.
You possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling you to work closely with programming, product, marketing, and data teams. You are adept at defining and implementing editorial and content promotion strategies tailored to your local market. Your ability to analyze data and trends helps you make informed decisions that enhance audience engagement and expand reach.

In this role, you will lead Spotify's efforts in localized podcast and video podcast programming, ensuring that content resonates with the Japanese audience. You will manage B2B partnerships, collaborating with creators and partners to drive growth and discovery on and off the platform. Your responsibilities will include defining and implementing Spotify's editorial and content promotion strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
You will analyze data-driven insights to inform your strategies, identifying opportunities for audience engagement and content optimization. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to align on objectives and share progress. You will also play a key role in fostering relationships with creators, helping them to expand their audiences and increase engagement with their content.
This is a contract position for parental coverage until April 2027, providing you with the opportunity to make a significant impact on Spotify's podcasting efforts in Japan.
