Benchling is seeking a Product Manager for Chemistry to lead the development of solutions for scientists in biotechnology. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product capabilities. This role requires a strong understanding of product strategy and execution.
You have a strong background in product management, ideally with experience in the biotechnology or life sciences sector. You understand the complexities of developing products that cater to scientific research and have a passion for enabling innovation in this field. You are skilled in defining product vision and roadmaps, and you thrive in cross-functional environments where collaboration is key. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with scientists, engineers, and designers to bring new capabilities to life. You are data-driven and can leverage insights to inform product decisions, ensuring that the solutions you develop meet the needs of users in the scientific community. You are adaptable and can navigate the fast-paced nature of the biotech industry, always looking for ways to accelerate scientific discovery.
In this role, you will define and execute the product vision and roadmap for Benchling’s small molecule solution. You will partner with talented build teams to deliver innovative solutions that empower scientists in their research and development efforts. Your responsibilities will include conducting user research to understand the needs of scientists, collaborating with engineering and design teams to develop product features, and managing the go-to-market strategy for new product launches. You will also be responsible for tracking product performance metrics and iterating on the product based on user feedback. Your role will involve regular communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment on product goals and objectives, and you will play a critical role in driving the success of Benchling’s offerings in the chemistry domain.
