BeyondTrust is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business and manage the sales lifecycle in a defined territory. This role requires strong sales skills and a proactive approach to account management.
You have a proven track record in sales, with at least 5 years of experience in account management or business development. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable managing your own schedule while meeting sales targets. Your ability to build relationships with clients and understand their needs is key to your success. You are results-driven and have a strong understanding of the sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a competitive market while maintaining a positive attitude. You are a team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues across various departments to achieve common goals.
Experience in the cybersecurity or SaaS industry is a plus, as is familiarity with sales forecasting and territory management. You are comfortable using CRM tools to track your progress and manage your accounts. A background in technology sales can help you communicate effectively with clients about BeyondTrust's offerings.
In this role, you will identify, generate, qualify, and close new business opportunities within your defined territory. You will be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle, which includes developing a territory sales plan that outlines your roadmap to success. You will proactively prospect for new clients and maintain relationships with existing accounts to ensure their needs are met. You will collaborate closely with the Vice President, Sales Engineers, and other team members to deliver strategic goals and align with channel partners to maximize value for customers. Your ability to forecast sales and generate leads will be crucial in meeting or exceeding your monthly and annual quotas. You will also maintain accurate whitespace data on customer accounts and focus prospect accounts to ensure effective targeting.
