Formlabs is seeking a Lead Mobile Developer to define and build mobile applications that enhance user engagement with 3D printers. You'll work with technologies like Java and Flutter in a hybrid role based in Budapest.
You have a BSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science and over 5 years of experience in mobile development, showcasing your ability to build and deliver high-quality mobile applications. Your expertise in Java and familiarity with both Android and iOS platforms enable you to create seamless user experiences. You are well-versed in modern software design processes and testing methodologies, ensuring that the code you write is maintainable and robust. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product managers to implement features that meet customer needs. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail allow you to contribute to improving the architecture and code quality of applications.
Experience with Flutter is a plus, as it allows you to develop cross-platform applications efficiently. Familiarity with agile methodologies and version control systems like Git will enhance your ability to work effectively within a team.
In this role, you will guide foundational technical decisions and apply modern software design processes to deliver robust mobile applications. You will be responsible for writing highly maintainable and well-tested code while developing features end-to-end. Collaborating with experienced product managers, you will implement and launch features that address the needs of our customers, transforming how they manage and engage with their 3D printers. You will also contribute to improving the overall architecture and code quality of the application, ensuring that it meets the high standards expected by Formlabs.
