Microsoft is hiring a Datacenter Power Infrastructure Delivery Program Manager to oversee the delivery of datacenter power infrastructure across the Americas. You have a strong background in project management, particularly in the energy sector, with at least 5 years of experience managing complex infrastructure projects. Your expertise in datacenter operations and energy sourcing allows you to identify and execute strategic energy opportunities effectively. You are skilled in coordinating multiple stakeholders and ensuring that projects align with sustainability and economic goals.
You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to facilitate discussions between technical teams and business leaders. Your ability to negotiate and manage contracts is complemented by a deep understanding of the technical aspects of power infrastructure. You are proactive in identifying potential challenges and developing solutions that drive project success.
You are familiar with Microsoft Azure and its role in cloud infrastructure, which helps you understand the broader context of your work. Your analytical skills allow you to assess project performance and make data-driven decisions that enhance operational efficiency. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives.
Experience with renewable energy projects or sustainability initiatives is a plus. Familiarity with advanced technologies in power infrastructure will set you apart. You are adaptable and open to learning new methodologies that can improve project delivery.
In this role, you will be responsible for the facilitation and delivery of Microsoft’s datacenter power infrastructure projects. You will coordinate with various teams, including engineering, operations, and external partners, to ensure seamless project execution.
