What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for executing multiple water projects across the APAC region, focusing on both new and existing AWS infrastructure. You will conduct due diligence on water and wastewater infrastructure solutions, ensuring that all projects meet AWS standards and sustainability goals. Your role will involve negotiating directly with water utilities to secure necessary resources and services for project execution.

You will support AWS operations and engineering teams in troubleshooting and operating water treatment systems at existing sites. Developing metrics to communicate performance and operational efficiency will be a key part of your responsibilities. You will also be the central point of contact for all issues related to water and wastewater treatment, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally.

Your expertise will guide the delivery of water sustainability projects, contributing to AWS's commitment to environmental responsibility. You will compile and analyze data on permitting, land use, and water availability, which will inform site selection efforts for new projects. Your analytical skills will be essential in evaluating the cost and schedule implications of various water infrastructure solutions.
