You'll design and implement resilient technology solutions that power Amazon's worldwide operations, working on projects that drive significant business impact through improved system performance, automation, and operational excellence. Key job responsibilities
- Design and implement technology solutions for supply chain systems supporting Amazon's global operations
- Build and maintain resilient, scalable infrastructure components for critical business applications
- Develop automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Identify and resolve architectural deficiencies in existing systems
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and diagnostic solutions for business-critical applications
- Collaborate with partner teams to improve system integration and performance
- Lead technical design reviews and contribute to architecture discussions
- Troubleshoot complex operational issues and drive root cause resolution
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance requirements are met
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical business systems
- Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes
- Knowledge of database systems and SQL
- 3+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience- Experience with distributed systems at scale
