Job Description

We are seeking a Product Manager to lead our tax compliance initiatives in Brazil and manage tax-related regulatory implementations. In this role, you will drive the design, development and implementation of tax solutions that ensure Amazon Brazil's adherence to evolving tax regulations.

The successful candidate will combine product management expertise with an understanding of tax systems. You should demonstrate the ability to translate complex tax requirements into practical product solutions while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key job responsibilities
Lead tax reform regulatory implementation initiatives
Coordinate with finance and tax teams to assess impact of new regulations and develop strategic solutions
Design tax-related product features
Define technical requirements and success metrics
Document tax compliance requirements
Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions
Build product roadmaps for tax solutions

A day in the life
You'll work at the intersection of tax regulations and technology, translating complex requirements into effective product solutions. Your day involves collaborating with tax specialists, engineers, and business stakeholders to design and implement tax compliance features. You'll participate in technical discussions, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure timely delivery of tax-related product initiatives.

About the team
Brazil Payments is part of the International Emerging Stores Payments team and focuses on supporting the launch of new payment and financial products to our customers in Brazil.
Payments Compliance is a newly formed charter to consolidate payments related regulatory initiatives.- 3+ years of product management experience
- Experience in product, program, or project management in leading cross-functional teams in delivery of major new products or services
- Experience developing operational processes and technologies
- Experience defining product requirements and success metrics- Experience building and analyzing cost/benefit scenarios and business cases and communicating results throughout the organization
- Experience in balancing conflicting priorities dealing with ambiguity
- Data-driven decision-making capability and strong communication skills
