Amazon is hiring a Hardware Development Engineer for the AWS Center for Quantum Computing in Pasadena. You have a strong background in hardware engineering, particularly in semiconductor process development, with a focus on lithography techniques. Your experience includes working in cleanroom environments and solving complex problems related to the fabrication and characterization of quantum processors. You possess excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of engineering principles, which allows you to effectively collaborate with project leads and team members.
Your expertise in photolithography processes and tools, such as direct write systems, mask aligners, and DUV/iLine steppers, sets you apart. You thrive in team environments and are dedicated to improving and sustaining fabrication processes. You are detail-oriented and analytical, with a knack for analyzing inline metrology and inspections to enhance production quality.
You are passionate about the long-term challenges of developing quantum computing technology and are eager to contribute to AWS's mission of delivering cloud quantum computing services to a global customer base.
