Five9 is hiring a Data Engineer II to design, develop, and maintain data systems that support analytics-based solutions. You'll work with technologies like Apache Spark and SQL in a hybrid role based in Porto, Portugal.
You have 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 1 year in a production environment as a Data Engineer or in a similar role. Your educational background includes a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, and a Master’s degree is a plus. You possess a solid understanding of general data engineering principles and distributed systems, which allows you to effectively contribute to the team. Your experience includes working with streaming data processing frameworks such as Apache Flink or Spark, showcasing your ability to handle complex data challenges. You are familiar with software development life cycles (SDLC) and have a strong programming background that enables you to integrate new technologies seamlessly into existing systems.
As a Data Engineer II at Five9, you will be a key player in our data team, responsible for designing, constructing, testing, and maintaining highly scalable data management systems.
