Duolingo is seeking a Senior Product Manager to enhance the learning experience through innovative product features. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the learning strategy and impact millions of users. This role requires strong product management skills and a passion for education.

Job Description

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within the education or technology sectors — you've successfully led product initiatives from ideation to launch, ensuring alignment with user needs and business goals. Your analytical mindset allows you to perform qualitative and quantitative research to validate feature ideas and drive data-informed decisions. You excel in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to create delightful user experiences. You are passionate about education and understand the nuances of developing engaging learning products that cater to diverse audiences. You are comfortable navigating complex problems and finding innovative solutions that enhance the learning journey for users of all levels.

Desirable

Experience in the edtech industry or with learning applications is a plus — you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space. Familiarity with user research methodologies and A/B testing will help you refine product features effectively. A background in data analysis tools or frameworks will enable you to derive insights that inform product strategy and execution.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Manager at Duolingo, you will be responsible for improving the learning experience through impactful product features. You will drive product features through their entire creative cycle: from ideation and specification to development, release, analysis, and iteration. Establishing the strategy for your focus area will be key, as you build alignment across product teams, cross-functional partners, and the leadership team. You will perform qualitative and quantitative research to explore and validate feature ideas, ensuring that the products you develop resonate with users and meet their learning needs. Collaborating with engineers, you will guide feature development, ensuring that the final product aligns with the vision and goals set forth in your strategy. Your role will also involve analyzing user feedback and product performance metrics to iterate on existing features and identify new opportunities for growth.
