Software Engineer, ToR Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with coding in C++.
• 1 year of experience with distributed computing.
• 1 year of experience with SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1 year of experience with data center networking.

Rackswitch bandwidth provisioning and lifecycle management is a core/critical area in datacenter networking. The charter of the team is cost efficiency, reliability (i.e., minimize network congestion and impact to internal/external users), and application performance. Sub-areas include: rack level job scheduling and optimizing rack switch uplink bandwidth provisioning. Lifecycle management of rack switch deployment, configuration, and decomissioning and infrastructure support for introducing new rackswitch hardware platforms.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Lead end-to-end projects to support deployment of new rack switch hardware increase rack switch availability.
• Improve rack switch deployment flexibility, rack switch bandwidth provisioning efficiency.
• Increase velocity of rack switch deployments, and improve reliability of all rack switch life-cycle workflows.
