Handshake is seeking Air Traffic Controllers to serve as AI Trainers for a temporary research project. You'll leverage your professional experience to evaluate AI models and provide structured feedback. No AI experience is required, and the role is fully remote.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience as an Air Traffic Controller, coordinating and managing the safe and efficient movement of aircraft. Your expertise allows you to provide critical information on weather, visibility, and potential hazards to pilots. You are comfortable working independently and can deliver clear, structured feedback that strengthens AI models' understanding of your workplace tasks and language. You are open to learning new skills and contributing to the development of AI in your field.
In this role, you will participate in an hourly, temporary AI research project where you will evaluate AI models based on your professional experience. You will develop prompts that reflect your field and assess the responses generated by the AI. Your feedback will be crucial in enhancing the model's accuracy and relevance to real-world tasks. The position is remote and asynchronous, allowing you to work flexibly from anywhere in the United States. You will have the opportunity to engage in various projects as they become available, contributing to the ongoing development of AI applications in air traffic control.
