SpaceX is hiring a Product Development Engineer for the Starlink project to drive the design, production, and launch of innovative satellite products. You'll engage in various technical fields and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure product manufacturability. This role requires a strong engineering background and a passion for space technology.
You have a background in engineering with experience in product development, ideally within the aerospace or technology sectors. You are comfortable working across multiple technical fields and have a passion for innovation and problem-solving. You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy engaging with stakeholders to drive projects from concept to launch. You understand the complexities of product manufacturability and are eager to contribute to groundbreaking technologies that have a global impact.
Experience with satellite technology or broadband systems would be a plus, as well as familiarity with production processes and project management methodologies. You are adaptable and ready to take on various responsibilities, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
In this role, you will own the product development process from design to launch, working closely with cross-functional teams to define the roadmap and ensure that products meet quality and manufacturability standards. You will engage in projects that may involve launching new Starlink kits, establishing innovative production lines, and leading insourcing initiatives. Your work will directly contribute to the success of the Starlink program, impacting millions of users worldwide.
