KnowBe4 is hiring a Regional Account Executive to acquire new customers and upsell existing accounts in the SMB/MM segment. This role is based in Utrecht, Netherlands, and requires fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish.
You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record in acquiring new business and managing customer relationships. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working with SMB and MM-sized accounts. Your fluency in Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Finnish allows you to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients. You are driven by results and have a strong understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, enabling you to articulate the value of security awareness training to potential customers.
You possess excellent interpersonal skills and can build rapport with clients quickly. You are a strategic thinker who can identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts. Your ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, including marketing and customer success, ensures that you can deliver a seamless experience for your clients. You are adaptable and open to continuous learning, always seeking to improve your sales techniques and product knowledge.
Experience in the cybersecurity industry is a plus, as is familiarity with AI-driven platforms. You have a strong network within the SMB/MM sector and can leverage these connections to drive sales. A background in account management or business development will further enhance your candidacy.
In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring new logos and maximizing revenue opportunities within existing SMB/MM accounts. You will develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve your targets, leveraging your understanding of the cybersecurity landscape to position KnowBe4's offerings effectively. You will engage with potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
You will work closely with the marketing team to align on campaigns and initiatives that drive lead generation. Your ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback will inform your sales strategies and help you identify new opportunities for growth. You will also collaborate with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new clients and to identify upselling opportunities within your existing accounts.
Regularly reporting on your sales activities and performance metrics will be essential, as will maintaining accurate records in the CRM system. You will participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy, sharing insights and best practices with your colleagues. Your role will also involve continuous professional development, as you stay updated on industry trends and product developments to better serve your clients.
