Databricks is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead headcount planning and total rewards initiatives. You'll provide financial insights and analysis to optimize investment decisions. This role requires experience in finance and a strong understanding of compensation modeling.
You have over 5 years of experience in finance, particularly in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and have a proven track record of supporting senior leadership with data-driven insights. Your background includes working in high-growth environments where you have successfully navigated complex financial landscapes. You are adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Human Resources and Corporate Operations, to ensure alignment in financial forecasting and management. You possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to model compensation costs effectively and assess financial risks associated with employee benefits and equity plans. You are a proactive communicator, capable of presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in headcount planning and total rewards is a plus, as is familiarity with equity budgeting processes. A background in compliance and understanding of payroll taxes and benefits forecasting will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. You are comfortable using financial modeling tools and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial reports and forecasts.
In this role, you will own the headcount forecasting process across the company, working closely with various teams to ensure consistency and accuracy in financial projections. You will partner with the Compensation team to model cash and equity compensation costs, providing insights that drive strategic decision-making. Your responsibilities will include forecasting employee costs, including benefits and payroll taxes, and managing the financial aspects of the company's equity budgeting process. You will also assess risks associated with self-insured medical plans and model changes in benefit plan designs. As a key financial business partner, you will lead initiatives aimed at improving financial processes and enhancing the overall effectiveness of the Corporate FP&A team.
