Woven by Toyota is seeking an HMI Application Development Engineer Intern to work on advanced driver assistance systems. You'll develop applications that enhance driver experiences using diverse vehicle data. This role is ideal for students with a strong interest in technology and coding skills.
You are a student currently enrolled in a short-term college, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral program, expected to graduate by March 2028. You have a keen interest in technology and are eager to participate in a three-month on-site internship starting in June or August 2026. You possess coding skills and a broad knowledge of software development, ready to tackle challenges in HMI applications for next-generation advanced driving assistance systems.
You are excited about the opportunity to work with a team of talented engineers and contribute to projects that aim to redefine mobility. You understand the importance of communication and collaboration in a team setting, and you are motivated to bring your ideas to life while supporting the team in achieving its goals.

As an HMI Application Development Engineer Intern, you will be involved in the early development of control applications for human-machine interfaces. Your primary responsibility will be to create applications that output information to meters, head-up displays, and multimedia systems based on diverse data collected from vehicles. You will work closely with experienced engineers who will mentor you throughout your internship, providing guidance and support as you implement and evaluate proof-of-concept applications.
You will engage in hands-on coding and software development, utilizing your skills to contribute to innovative projects that enhance driver experiences. Your role will require you to actively communicate with team members, share your ideas, and collaborate on solutions that push the boundaries of mobility technology.
