Axon is seeking a Senior Security Operations Engineer II to ensure the reliability and performance of their security infrastructure. You'll work with AWS, Linux, and Python to support identity and access management initiatives. This role requires significant experience in security operations.
You have 5+ years of experience in security operations, with a strong focus on maintaining and improving security infrastructure. Your expertise in AWS and Linux allows you to effectively manage and scale security systems, ensuring they meet the demands of a growing organization. You are proficient in Python, using it to automate processes and solve complex technical challenges. Your background in identity and access management (IAM) equips you to handle user identity solutions and PKI implementations at scale. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall developer experience and system reliability. You are committed to continuous improvement and are always looking for ways to optimize security processes and practices.
Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards is a plus, as is familiarity with incident response and threat detection methodologies. You understand the importance of staying current with security trends and technologies, and you are eager to share your knowledge with your team.
