Overview

UpGuard is seeking an Account Manager to focus on revenue retention and expansion within key accounts. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure clients see continuous value from our cybersecurity platform. This role requires a strong commercial background, ideally with experience in SaaS renewals.

You have a strong commercial mindset and a passion for helping others — your experience as an Account Executive or in SaaS renewals has equipped you with the skills to identify opportunities for account expansion and elevate product adoption. You thrive in building long-lasting relationships with clients and understand the importance of navigating complex client relationships to meet their unique business needs.

Your background in account management has given you a deep understanding of revenue retention strategies — you are adept at contract negotiation and strategic account management, ensuring that clients derive continuous value from the solutions you provide. You are proactive in addressing customer challenges and are always looking for innovative ways to enhance their experience with UpGuard.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams — your ability to articulate client needs and advocate for their interests is essential in achieving growth objectives. You are results-driven and motivated by the success of your clients, believing that their success is a reflection of your own.

Desirable

Experience in the cybersecurity sector is a plus, as it will help you understand the unique challenges faced by security teams. Familiarity with integrated cyber risk posture management platforms will enable you to provide tailored solutions that meet client needs. A background in customer success or customer operations can also enhance your ability to drive client satisfaction and retention.

What you'll do

As an Account Manager at UpGuard, you will focus on revenue retention and expansion within key accounts — your primary responsibility will be to ensure that clients see continuous value from our cybersecurity platform. You will work closely with the Success team to address customer needs and challenges, providing solutions that enhance their experience and satisfaction.

You will engage in strategic account management, identifying opportunities for growth within existing client accounts — your ability to navigate complex client relationships will be crucial in achieving your growth objectives. You will also be responsible for contract negotiation, ensuring that agreements align with both client needs and UpGuard's business goals.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be a key aspect of your role — you will partner with product, engineering, and support teams to ensure that client feedback is incorporated into our solutions. Your insights will help shape product development and enhance the overall customer experience.

You will monitor account health and performance metrics, proactively addressing any issues that arise — your goal will be to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will also conduct regular check-ins with clients to assess their needs and ensure they are maximizing the value of our platform.
