Google is seeking a Senior UX Quantitative Researcher to drive user insights for their Advertising Platform. You'll leverage programming languages like Python and R to conduct product research and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires 6+ years of experience in applied research settings.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 6 years of experience in product research within an applied research setting. Your background includes programming languages used for data manipulation and computational statistics, such as Python, R, MATLAB, C++, Java, or Go. You may also hold a Master's degree or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field. You have a proven track record of conducting UX research on products and collaborating with executive leadership, ideally at the Director level or above. With 3 years of experience managing projects, you thrive in dynamic environments and adapt well to changing organizational needs.
As a Senior UX Quantitative Researcher at Google, you will play a critical role in informing your team of UX designers, product managers, and engineers about user needs. You will develop research that aligns with team goals, navigating constraints and challenges to find opportunities for user-centered insights. Your work will involve building relationships across teams, enabling research and influence to extend beyond immediate projects. You will contribute to the creation of industry-leading products that deliver value to users and Google's businesses. Your insights will help shape the design and functionality of the Advertising Platform, ensuring that user experiences are both effective and engaging. You will also mentor junior researchers and contribute to the overall growth of the UX research team.
