What you'll do

As the Data Centre Security Manager, you will be responsible for the on-site operational physical security of the Data Center in Melbourne. You will lead the implementation of security processes and ensure adherence to existing protocols. Your role will involve managing the security team, overseeing their training and performance, and ensuring they are equipped to handle various security challenges. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining security metrics that reflect the effectiveness of the security measures in place. Regular audits and assessments will be part of your responsibilities, allowing you to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

You will collaborate with other teams within AWS to ensure that security practices align with operational goals and customer needs. This includes working with engineering and operations teams to integrate security into all aspects of data center operations.
