Google is seeking a Data Analytics Sales Specialist Manager to lead a sales team and grow Google Cloud accounts in Tokyo. You'll leverage your expertise in data analytics solutions and build executive-level relationships. This role requires 10 years of experience in sales strategy and team management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 10 years of experience in planning, pitching, and executing territory business strategies and sales programs. Your background includes at least 2 years of experience in people management with direct reports, and you have a proven track record of managing a quota-carrying sales team. You possess experience in promoting data and analytics software or solutions, which is essential for this role.
Your understanding of the data analytics technology stack is comprehensive, including familiarity with market-leading Business Intelligence (BI) front-end, data analytics middleware, and back-end data warehouse technologies. You are well-versed in technologies such as Hadoop and Spark, and you have experience with data streaming, ETL, data governance, predictive analytics, OLAP, and data science frameworks. Additionally, you have familiarity with Google Cloud data and analytics offerings, including BigQuery, Looker, DataProc, and PubSub.
You excel at engaging and influencing executive stakeholders at the CDO/CXO level, acting as a business advisor and thought leader in data analytics. Your excellent business judgment and analytics skills enable you to use data to inform decisions and influence stakeholders effectively.
While not required, additional experience with specific data analytics tools and technologies will be beneficial. Your ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level customers will set you apart, as will your capacity to influence long-term strategic direction and act as a trusted advisor.
In this role, you will lead a sales team focused on growing Google Cloud accounts in assigned territories. You will be responsible for building executive-level relationships and aligning our offerings and partners' value propositions to meet customer needs. Your day-to-day activities will include prospecting, qualifying, and orchestrating a cross-functional team, leveraging the right resources, including customer engineering, partner management, professional services, and field teams.
You will manage complex implementation projects and agreements, ensuring that data analytics growth is integrated into Google Cloud accounts. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining accurate and timely sales and business forecasts, providing regular updates to your team and leadership on key business priorities and initiatives.
