Corporate Security Engineer

You have a strong background in corporate security, with experience leading initiatives to protect corporate environments and users. You possess expertise in key security domains such as Endpoint Security, Identity & Access Management (IAM), and data-loss prevention. You are comfortable designing and building automation scripts and tools to streamline security workflows, and you have a keen eye for collecting actionable metrics that enhance security measures. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams ensures that security is prioritized in all aspects of the business.

You are proactive in identifying potential threats and implementing innovative safeguards to protect data. Desirable

Experience with security compliance frameworks and risk management practices is a plus. Familiarity with security automation tools and scripting languages will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. What you'll do

In this role, you will lead initiatives across key security domains, including Endpoint Security and SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM). You will collaborate closely with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders to integrate security tools, policies, and processes into corporate systems and workflows. Your focus will be on enabling secure-by-design implementations that protect Asana’s data and users.

You will design and build automation scripts and tools that streamline security workflows, allowing for efficient monitoring and response to potential threats. Collecting actionable metrics will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will analyze data to improve security measures continuously. You will also play a vital role in fostering a culture of security within the organization, ensuring that all employees understand their role in maintaining a secure environment.

Your work will involve staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and threats, allowing you to proactively address vulnerabilities. You will lead training sessions and workshops to educate employees on best practices for security, helping to create a security-conscious culture at Asana.
